UPCOMING SPACEPORT AMERICA DAY AT THE NEW MEXICO LEGISLATURE

What:

 Spaceport America invites you to the “Spaceport America Day at the Legislature”, on January 29th  at the State Capitol. Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Hicks, will brief regarding future space opportunities, spaceport growth and impacts to New Mexico. We are pleased that our customers and beneficiaries will be speaking on the successes in working with the New Mexico Spaceport Authority and the impacts we have had on the New Mexico economy, earth sciences, space tourism, national security and space exploration. Spaceport speakers include representatives from UP Aerospace, Virgin Galactic, Fiore Industries, SDV Construction, and from the supported educational institutes.

Who:

The New Mexico Spaceport Authority, Spaceport America, is the first spaceport built for commercial space activities. It is situated on 18,000 acres adjacent to the U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range in southern New Mexico and enjoys the support of our military while working secure and safe space operations. Respected companies in the aerospace industry are current customers at Spaceport America: Virgin Galactic, Boeing, United Launch Alliance, UP Aerospace, EXOS Aerospace Systems & Technologies, and Pipeline2Space.
